Residential building, former Ringelhann House

Late Baroque residential building located at Dobó tér 8. on the south bank of the Eger stream, opposite Offenbacher House. The building was created by the merger of two adjacent plots. The merchant József Ringelhann had the western wing built in 1787, while the eastern wing was owned by the Greek merchant Demeter Sztamboli. The Ringelhann family bought the eastern building from the Sztamboli heirs at the end of the 18th century. The new homogenized building was designed by János Povolni. Subsequent owners: Ringelhann Alajosné, Antal Ringelhann, József Sebestyén, Fischer Dávidné. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was owned by Dr. László Fodor, attorney-at-law.
